What more can I say? It’s a game that was perfectly made to please me.

I’m not a fighting game player by any stretch of the imagination, but Mortal Kombat 11 makes me wish I was.

There’s so much to love about it. The presentation is amazing, the roster is top-tier, and it’s just fun to play. Most important to me, though, is that it has one of the best single-player experiences in a fighting game.

Since my graphics card died, I’ve been playing on my PS5 a lot more. And in my search of native PS5 games to play, I discovered Fortnite.

Hyper Metroid is often cited as one of the best Super Metroid romhacks. And look, I’m one of the biggest Metroid fans out there. I even know Metroid’s first name. He goes by Samus.

Pokemon Crystal Clear is a romhack that provides an experience unlike any official Pokemon game. And it makes me wish Game Freak would take notes.

I didn’t expect to like Pokemon Sword as much as I did.

I feel like I’m in a tough position, because people have trash-talked this game for over a year. Rightly so in a lot of places. But a lot of that stuff hasn’t mattered to me.
